Purpose Of Lockwire
Lock wire is an extremely versatile and useful tool for a wide variety of different industries. Nuts, bolts, and screws have the tendency to loosen themselves over long periods of time. The purpose of Lockwire is designed to ensure that fasteners remain tight and secure.
With a positive locking device that functions as a safety mechanism to prevent the loosening of fasteners. The lockwire is commonly threaded through the fasteners hole, twisted onto another part of the fastener and then twisted again.

What is Wire Forming? / Choosing the Right Supplier / About Malin
What is Wire Forming?
You and your colleagues may have implemented custom wire for past projects, but might be unfamiliar with wire forming. Wire forming refers to the custom shaping of wire from wire spools. The customization method can involve bending, cutting, and angle shaping.
First, teams typically plan part design and determine specifications. Next, a company will select the best material for the task. Then, the customer and wire company will feed custom tooling and wire into a machine where the wire then bends around the tooling to take the shape of the finished part.

Choosing the Right Supplier
Communication is arguably the most important factor to consider when looking for a partner for wire forming. Does a team respond quickly to phone calls or emails, for example? Our quality control and customer service representatives easily accessible? A reliable team will communicate both honestly and consistently with client businesses.
Be sure to set aside some time to research a team’s qualifications. Look for any relevant ISO certifications. For example, the ISO 9001:2015 certification lets potential customers know a company has met strict quality management system standards.
If possible, you should also look into a company’s training and certification standards for employees. This can help you get an idea of who will be able to work with your team should any issues arise.
You and your team should also consider a potential partner’s available equipment. Does the facility maintain up to date machinery? Is investment in robotic or other new technologies a priority for any of the companies on your list?
During your research process, you will need to consider a company’s rates of rejection. If possible, look online to learn about any claims from past customers regarding ineffective parts, delivery rejection, or the reordering of parts. Consulting online reviews can be helpful for this stage of the research process. However, it is critical to remember that you should only consider these reviews in combination with multiple other factors, as motivations behind them can vary significantly.
